Structure of programme

  • Duration 90 minutes
  • Including at least 10 minutes for open discussion with the audience
  • 4-5 presentations
  • Preferably international character
  • Chair appointed by symposium organizers
  • Optional discussant invited by symposium organizers

Oral presentations session
  • Duration 90 minutes
  • 5 presentations
  • 17 minutes (including at least 2 minutes for open discussion with the audience)
  • Chair appointed by Scientific Committee

Guided poster presentation session
  • Presentation of poster optional (to be indicated at submission)
  • Duration of poster presentation session 60 minutes
  • 10 presentations of 5 minutes each (including discussion) per session
  •  Poster sessions arranged by conference themes
  • Chair and assistant poster rater appointed by Scientific Committee
  • Among the orally presented posters, awards will be granted to the best poster per conference theme with respect to content, lay-out and oral presentation. 

Thematic areas
  • Symposia, oral and poster presentations will be gathered in the 4 conferences themes and an additional category including activities not covered by the conference themes
  • The key themes of the ENMESH 2017 conference are:
  1. Assessment: Understanding the context
  2. Epidemiology: Methodological approaches supporting personalised care
  3. Approaches: Novel approaches using the patient’s own context
  4. Policy: Societal challenges for community mental health
  5. Other: Subjects not covered by the above four themes
  • Upon submission, submitting authors shall specify in which of the themes  they would like to present their activity.
  • The Scientific Committee will try to respect the submitting author’s choice of thematic area. However, this is subject to changes in order to achieve a balanced scientific programme.
